Meet Norma Borelli

Norma Borelli is the author of three instructional cookbooks:

Bake Yourself Happy: Cookie Recipes for Beating the Blues,

Breaking Bread: Step by Step to Perfect Muffins, Biscuits, and Loaves and
Love What You Eat: 250 Recipes to Tempt Your Tastebuds.

A former newspaper columnist, she makes her home in the San Francisco Bay Area and has frequently volunteered as a cooking teacher at care homes and for the 4-H Club.

Borelli comes from a long line of inventive and accomplished Italian cooks. She has created new recipes and has been turning out delectable delights ever since she was tall enough to reach the counter. After receiving numerous requests for her culinary secrets, she was inspired to share what she’s learned from her decades of experience to help others create their own gastronomic pleasures.

Cooking and baking are easy and enjoyable with Borelli’s books. While her tried and true tips are designed to guide rookie cooks, experienced cooks can learn a few things too. The recipes are straightforward and easy to follow but never taste simple and are hardly ordinary. Each delicious recipe has been tested multiple times and has been tweaked to perfection, so you can be confident in their outcome. There is no question of trial and error. Your creations will be a hit every time.

With Borelli’s engaging writing style, lighthearted tone, amusing quips, and homespun advice, her books are fun to read, even when you’re not in the kitchen.

Have fun in the kitchen!
